Parts & Inventory Management
CDE’s inventory management services allow you to eliminate the overhead associated with maintaining an in-house inventory of supplies and equipment. Our convenient Web interface delivers real-time inventory updates. All data is maintained from “cradle-to-grave” and stored on Dell servers utilizing RAID 5 disk storage systems. We back up our servers daily on digital audio tape, and then store the back-up tapes off-site as part of CDE’s data security program. We log in products by customer name, serial number, model type, memory amount, and other identifiers. CDE Services collects data at every step to construct a history of all problems found, parts replaced, tests conducted, and quality control inspections.
